Mind-body practices with Sarah Atkinson
Personalized support that draws from multiple evidence-informed mind-body approaches to meet your unique needs.
An Integrative Mind-Body Session is a personalized wellness experience that draws from multiple evidence-informed mind-body approaches to support relaxation, nervous system regulation, stress resilience, and overall well-being. Sessions may incorporate gentle yoga, somatic practices, mindfulness, guided relaxation, Healing Touch, sound, or other restorative practices based on your individual needs.
People often choose an Integrative Mind-Body Session when they want individualized support but aren’t sure which approach would be the best fit.
Sessions may be helpful for:
Many people report leaving sessions feeling:
Each session begins with a brief 5–10 minute conversation about how you’re feeling, what you’re hoping for, and any preferences you have for the session.
From there, I’ll thoughtfully select the practices that best support your goals. Depending on your needs, your session may include gentle movement, guided relaxation, mindfulness, somatic practices, Healing Touch, sound, or periods of quiet rest.
Because every session is individualized, no two experiences are exactly alike.
Sessions are designed to support relaxation and well-being and are not a substitute for medical or mental health care.
Sometimes people know exactly what they’re looking for—a private sound bath or a Healing Touch session.
Other times, they simply know they need support but aren’t sure which approach would be most helpful.
An Integrative Mind-Body Session removes the pressure of choosing a single modality. Instead, we begin with your goals and create an experience that fits you.

An Integrative Mind-Body Session brings together several approaches that have each been studied for their potential to support stress management, relaxation, sleep, nervous system regulation, and overall well-being.
Research on practices such as mindfulness, yoga, somatic approaches, Yoga Nidra, and relaxation techniques suggests they may help reduce stress, improve sleep, increase body awareness, and support emotional well-being. While each practice works somewhat differently, they share a common goal: helping the mind and body shift from chronic activation toward greater ease and balance.
Rather than following a one-size-fits-all protocol, each session is individualized to meet your needs. The specific combination of practices may vary, but the intention remains the same—to create a supportive experience that promotes rest, resilience, and overall well-being.
These sessions are designed to support wellness and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical or mental health conditions.
